Armonia: A Versatile Chair Collection

Bringing Harmony and Balance to Your Space

Armonia's inspiration stems from the idea that the union of two beings generates balance in life and harmony in the environment. The tubular structure, composed of two geometric shapes linked together, represents this concept and invites users to experience a sense of togetherness.

The collection features three chair designs, each highlighting the main element of the project - the structure - in a diverse and elegant way. Armonia-One is a contemporary loveseat, consisting of two triangular puff seats and a backrest, all with an internal wood structure and covered in luxurious Leather/Alcantara. Armonia-Urban is a sleek bench made of oak wooden boards with a natural, cherry, or walnut finish, seamlessly fixed to the structure. Armonia-Crystal, on the other hand, is a transparent polycarbonate chair, showcasing the contrast between heavy-solid and light-transparent materials.

Armonia's tubular structure is made of stainless steel, with an optional satin black paint finish. The structure's dimensions, shape, and proportions were carefully considered to ensure stability and balance. The chairs' designs were developed to adapt to various contexts, making them versatile and suitable for different environments.

Measuring at 1200mm in width, 530mm in depth, and 900mm in height, Armonia chairs offer both comfort and style. The collection's unique properties and attention to detail set it apart from other chair designs, making it a standout choice for those seeking a harmonious and elegant addition to their space.

Alejandra Segura Narino's Armonia Structure Design Collection was meticulously researched and developed, starting from a symmetric matrix and exploring various paper models. The design process aimed to create a visually appealing and balanced form through the union of two triangular bases. The structure's manufacturing process was thoroughly analyzed, resulting in a stable and aesthetically pleasing final product.

Armonia will be exhibited for the first time at the Fuorisalone-Tortona District during Milan Design Week 2019. This project, which began in Colombia at the end of 2017, showcases the innovative and elegant design that Alejandra Segura Narino has brought to the world of furniture.

With its intellectual property registered and awarded the prestigious Iron A' Design Award in 2019, Armonia stands as a testament to the designer's talent and commitment to creating well-designed, practical, and innovative furniture that brings harmony and balance to any space.
